The Dietrich is a compact, circular stool with central disc detail on the top.  The sides are decorated with hand-applied nails in two rows, equidistant from the top and bottom of the body.  The veneered base is inset under the upholstered upper section, and is normally finished in a dark colour to minimise its appearance.  This is so as not to draw attention away from the real star of the show, Dietrich!
